Rev. Neftali “Charles” Olmeda
Rev. Neftali Olmeda - Pastor Charles as he is known by most along with his wife, serves as the Senior Pastor of the Multi-ethnic, Bi-lingual, Transformation Church, formerly known as 3rd Day Worship Center; a thriving ministry affiliated with the Assemblies of God and a church he founded and has served for the last 20 years along with his wife Pastor Reina Olmeda.
Corporately, Pastor Charles served as branch manager then regional mortgage manager for a regional bank. However, due to his Theological studies, many years in ministry, and God's calling upon his life, it was a matter of time before he was called to full-time ministry.
Prior to his pastoral role, Rev. Olmeda served the youth organization of the Assemblies of God in North Jersey and Pennsylvania for over 10 years while serving in the corporate world.
Rev. Olmeda has a passion to see the church play an active role in the community beyond a "religious" narrative. As such, he plays an active role in community outreach and initiatives. He has served as a spiritual advisor to the mayor and is the founder and president of Solutions Services, Inc. - a Non-profit community development company. Solutions Services, Inc. is the administering agency for the Advanced Mentoring Enrichment Network or A.M.E.N. Initiative (www.ameninitiative.com), an inner-city mentoring , anti-gang / anti-drug initiative. In the last ten years, Solution Services, Inc. has reached over 2000 youth via its four components - Mentoring, Tutoring, Midnight Basketball, and Career Apprenticeship, and has expanded from one to five locations.
Rev. Olmeda has served as President of the board of directors of the Lehigh Conference of Churches (www.lehighchurches.org), an ecumenical organization dedicated to addressing hunger, homelessness, mental health, At-risk youth and Christian unity. He also serves as board member and East Coast Liaison for the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) an organization committed to serving the 16 million Evangelical Hispanics in the United States and Puerto Rico across generational, country of origin, and denominational lines on issues that pertain to family, immigration, economic mobility, education, political empowerment, social justice, and societal transformation (www.nhclc.org).
Rev. Olmeda’s studies include Banking Institutes, Assemblies of God Institute of Theology, Desales University, a Masters in Theological Studies from Moravian Theological Seminary and is entering the dissertation phase on a PhD from Regent University.
Due to the unique pastoral calling on both he and his wife, Pastor Charles is able to alternate his preaching and conference speaking travel schedule with his wife, while effectively serving the local church. He has been married for 29 years, has two daughters and resides in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Reina Olmeda
Ida Olmeda known to most as Pastor Reina earned her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently finalizing her graduate work in Psychotherapy and Family Systems. Pastor Reina is a member of the American Christian Counselors association as well as The National Association of Professional Women. Pastor Reina is a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God denomination and serves on the board of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
Pastor Reina, a motivational speaker at heart, has a passion to see people change, succeed, and achieve. Her motivational style and her ability to connect with people from all different walks of life have served her to travel extensively throughout the country.
Pastor Reina along with her husband, Rev. Charles Olmeda, serves as Pastor of Transformation Church previously 3rd Day Worship Center where she inspires, motivates and empowers parishioners on a weekly basis. She also provides Pastoral Counseling to those in need.
Pastor Reina believes in giving back to the community, hence providing services for various non-profit organizations via her counseling services organization – M.I.N.D. Counseling & Consulting, Inc. With an emphasis on encouraging individuals to realize their goals, visions and dreams, her workshops consist of developing strategies and empowering individuals with the necessary tools that will lead them to a life of successful living with God as the center.
Pastor Reina, enjoys spending time with her family, photography and reading.
We believe
- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
